SHAW Steering Committee Vacancies 2023-4
The Society for the History of Women in the Americas (SHAW) is a diverse scholarly association dedicated to the historical investigation related to the history of women and gender non-conforming individuals in the Americas. SHAW invites expressions of interest to join its steering committee, in advance of its upcoming elections on Friday 27th November 2023.
We welcome the following expressions of interest for the vacancies below:
Chair – VACANCY
Secretary – VACANCY
Treasurer – VACANCY
If multiple nominations are received for any post, an online election will be held during SHAW’s Annual General Meeting. The new Committee’s terms will commence directly after the AGM on 27/11/23.
Role Requirements:
All post holders are expected to attend quarterly online committee meetings and to attend the in person annual conference held in early July.
The post will have a tenure of three years.
Job sharing will be considered for these roles if requested.
