Herstory
Green Howards Museum and NCT
Sharing the untold stories of army wives in the collections of the Green Howards Museum, the Herstory project encouraged young mums from Catterick Garrison to explore how women’s experiences as army wives have changed over the last 150 years. Participants engaged in creative activities inspired by the theme and shared their stories, experiences and reflections on army life today in a short film.

Women and Children of Rye
Members of Rye Museum Association
The Project was called “Women and Children of Rye.” There were two aims: to restore our unique, derelict, Women’s Prison Tower, built in 1837, and to research the roles played by women and children in Rye’s history, whilst engaging the community in many activities to pass on our new knowledge.
