 Student Work Experience Opportunities

The Women’s History Network is able to offer a small number of work experience opportunities to students undertaking History Degrees in the UK, who have been unable to undertake their planned work experience projects due to the Covid crisis and the lockdown.
Placements will involve between 30 and 80 hours work undertaken at home on web-based tasks to support the work of the network.  Placements will have to be undertaken between February and June 2021.
These placements are for those with a keen interest in women’s history who are undertaking work experience modules as part of their degrees.
Students should apply by sending details of their course, any relevant experience, and their interest in women’s history to by 4 February 2021. They should also copy their Work Experience tutor into their application email.
Placements are not paid but students who undertake placements will be given a year’s free student membership of the WHN.
